Thank you for an amazing year!
Our doors opened 1/1/2018, Java Cult Fitness is officially over a year old. Over the past year, we have witnessed an enormous amount of dedication and a growing community that sees all things possible. We wanted to say thank you...thank you to the 5:30 am crew who wakes up before sunlight, before work, children, school, coming in from work- we see you, to our 9:30 am crew who just got off a shift, just dropped the kids off to school, or are on to their second job - we see you, to our 4/5:30/6:30 pm crew - who just finished teaching, who are quickly trying to get a workout in before dinner- sports -clubs, or who plan to head into work for a night shift -we see you. To all members who are helping a family in need or volunteering in the community - we see you. To our teachers, students, veterans, fire, police, and military we see you and thank you. To our coaches who work more than one job, who support each other, push each other and who skillfully teach our valuable members - we see you and thank you. We see the hard work, the sacrifices, the self-care, the vulnerability when seeking help, the quest for improvement in life from every single one of you. We thank you, without every person who is a part of Java we would not exist. Without your hard work and dedication, we would not succeed. We see you...and we thank you!
This year we had the honor to open a space to encourage people to be healthy, to work hard and to be confident in stepping outside of their comfort zone. Every coach, member, and visitor we welcomed over the year has done nothing less than we hoped in opening Java. When we asked the community to #drinkthejava it was imperative that we provide a space where we maintained the integrity to consistently challenge our members with a flavor of fun doing so. We are grateful for the opportunities we had over our first year and look forward to what the future brings for our coaches and members.
In addition to getting fit, we had the privilege to hold two fundraisers one for The Leadership Studio of Atlantic City and one for the Atlantic County Humane Society. Our Java members and the local community were present, selfless and generous. We met so many wonderful people and could not have held these events without the significant amount of help from our Java members & coaches, our families, and the local community who donated time & services for each event. We look forward to making these fundraisers annual events so keep your eyes open for details.
Java continues to grow and change. We continue to learn and find ways to best serve our members. We see you Java and we challenge you to more - more fun, more growth, more chances to step closer to the best version of yourself. We have more Java to serve, here’s to another year together where we #drinkthejava !
